The Provincial Party Standing Committee met to discuss the organization of the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to his hometown.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 3, the Provincial Party Standing Committee worked collectively to listen to and give opinions on the preparation for the celebration of the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to his hometown and the inauguration of the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House.

Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting. Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial People's Committee; Provincial Police; relevant departments, agencies and branches.
At the working session, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee listened to the Department of Culture and Sports report on preparations for organizing activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's second visit to his hometown (December 8, 1961 - December 8, 2021), in conjunction with the inauguration ceremony of the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House.
The purpose of the ceremony is to commemorate, honor and show gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh's contributions to the homeland and country, towards the fine tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the nation.

Through the organization of the Commemoration Ceremony and the inauguration of the Memorial House, the effectiveness of propaganda and promotion of the value of the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in his homeland will be further enhanced. The ceremony will be held solemnly; ensuring safety, economy, efficiency; ensuring the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic.
The ceremony is scheduled to be held on the morning of December 12, at Kim Lien Relic Site (Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District), with the participation of: Leaders, former leaders of the Party and State; leaders of central departments, ministries and branches; delegates from neighboring provinces, the IV Military Region Command; former leaders of the Provincial Party Standing Committee...
On the sidelines of the event, Nghe An province will organizeScientific workshop “Preserving and promoting the value of Ho Chi Minh’s cultural heritage in his homeland”; Art program “Homeland in His Heart” recorded and broadcast on NTV channel; Exhibition of large-scale propaganda paintings commemorating the 75th anniversary of the national resistance war, the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s visit to his homeland and photo exhibition “Ho Chi Minh - He is the guiding light”.

The Ho Chi Minh Memorial House was newly built at the location of the old Memorial House. The purpose is to preserve, restore and promote the value of the special National Historical Site of the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site at Kim Lien Relic Site. To date, the project has been completed, accepted, handed over and put into use.
The investment in the construction of a new Memorial House will be consistent in landscape architecture with the overall Relic Site, contributing to the formation of a revolutionary ethics education point, promoting patriotic traditions and arousing national pride, meeting the needs of spiritual and cultural activities, sightseeing and tourism of the people, an attractive cultural tourist destination associated with the unique traditional cultural values of Nam Dan district and Nghe An province.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the departments to review, supplement and reconfirm the list of invited delegates, expressing the province's respect. At the same time, it is necessary to develop full plans for the ceremony to take place successfully and effectively. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also commented on the contents of the program script.

Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy also concluded the contents of the program of the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to his hometown; Inauguration of the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House; Scientific seminar "Preserving and promoting the value of Ho Chi Minh's cultural heritage in his homeland". At the same time, he requested assigned levels and sectors to ensure security and order, step up propaganda work on the media so that the image and meaning of the celebration can be widely spread./.
