(Baonghean.vn) - At a press conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council announced its intention to question two directors of departments regarding state management of mineral resources and support and job creation for workers and employers facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The commanders of the two branches are expected to be questioned.

Attending the meeting were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Nguyen Nam Dinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Hong Vinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of several provincial departments and agencies; and leaders and reporters from several local and resident press agencies.

Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - chaired the meeting.

Accordingly, the session is scheduled to take place over two and a half days, from December 7th to 9th, 2021, in Vinh City. At this session, the Provincial People's Council will consider 30 reports. In addition to carrying out personnel work within its authority, the session will also consider and decide on 37 resolutions in the fields of socio-economic development, national defense and security. Among these are many important resolutions, such as the Resolution on the medium-term public investment plan, 2021-2025; the Resolution on some policies to support agricultural and rural development in Nghe An province, 2022-2025; and the Resolution on the number, titles, allowances, regimes, and policies for...part-time workersand other subjects in communes, wards, towns, and hamlets, blocks, and villages in Nghe An province.

These also include resolutions stipulating measures to strengthen the removal of violations in road and railway safety corridors and sidewalks in the province, for the period 2022-2025; resolutions stipulating a mechanism to partially support tuition fees for the 2021-2022 school year for preschool children and primary and secondary school students in Nghe An province affected by the Covid-19 pandemic; and resolutions stipulating the price of SARS-CoV-2 testing services not covered by the Health Insurance Fund in state-owned medical examination and treatment facilities in Nghe An province…

In the context of the complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council continues to innovate in the preparation and organization of the session to ensure that it is conducted with quality, efficiency, and safety.

With the goal of continuing administrative reforms and moving towards a "paperless session," all documents for this session have been and will be sent to delegates in advance via email and document management software, allowing delegates time to study them and partially reducing printing costs and time for the relevant agencies.
