Truck carrying 850 kg of pork and chicken of unknown origin seized
(Baonghean.vn) - The Traffic Police Team, Quynh Luu District Police, in coordination with Market Management Team No. 4 (Nghe An) jointly arrested a truck transporting 850kg of rotten animal meat.
At 00:25 on December 17, 2021, the Traffic Police Team (Quynh Luu District Police) co-chaired with Market Management Team No. 4 - Market Management Department to stop and check a truck with license plate 74H-003.64 running from North to South, driven by Mr. Tran Kim Chung, born in 1987, address in Cam An commune, Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province.

Through inspection, it was discovered that the vehicle was transporting animal products: pork and chicken contained in foam boxes with a quantity of 850 kg. Of which: 800 kg of pork cut into pieces, 50 kg of chicken, all of the above goods were of unknown origin, had no quarantine certificate and gave off a foul smell.

The value of the destroyed goods was approximately more than 120 million VND. At the time of inspection, the vehicle owner could not present documents proving the origin of the shipment.

The Traffic Police Team and Market Management Team No. 4 worked with the authorities to destroy the above goods in accordance with regulations.
