Nghe An won 2 Gold Medals at the 2021 Freestyle and Classical Wrestling Championship

(Baonghean.vn) - At the end of the 2021 National Freestyle and Classical Wrestling Championship in Hai Phong, the Nghe An delegation won 3 medals, winning the third prize overall.

PrizeChampionThe 2021 National Freestyle and Classical Wrestling Competition is organized by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training (Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism) in coordination with the Department of Culture - Sports of Hai Phong City. The tournament takes place from December 12 to 22 at Kien An Sports Competition Center, Hai Phong City.

The tournament had more than 100 athletes from 19 delegations nationwide competing in many weight categories. Nghe An delegation had 5 athletes competing in both freestyle and classical wrestling.

End of tournament,Nghe An delegationwon 3 medals: 2 Gold medals, 1 Silver medal (athlete Nguyen Tat Loc won gold medal, classical wrestling, 77 kg weight class; athlete Hoang Van Tan won gold medal, classical wrestling, 67 kg weight class; athlete Nguyen Ba Luc won silver medal, freestyle wrestling, 74 kg weight class). This morning, December 17, the delegation left for Nghe An.

It is known that this is a quite successful tournament for the Nghe An wrestling team. Right after this tournament, the team will prepare to participate in the National Wrestling Championship in Vinh Phuc province.
