13-year-old Vietnamese contestant crowned 'Miss Eco Teen International'
Bella Vu beat out many strong competitors to be crowned Miss Eco Teen International. This is the first time a Vietnamese representative has won this contest.

FinalMiss Eco Teen International(Miss Eco-Tourism International) just took place on the night of December 20 in Egypt with the participation of 30 contestants. The representative of Vietnam is Vu Huyen Dieu (Bella Vu).
During the competition night, Bella Vu and other contestants participated in a group performance, national costume performance, evening gown performance... The Vietnamese representative impressed with her confident and energetic demeanor on stage. It is known that the 13-year-old girl had been trained by Minh Tu before to gain the necessary experience to "fight" in a foreign land.

In the final night, Bell Vu wore a Dragon - Phoenix costume by designer Viet Hung, conveying traditional historical values.culturenational. The evening gown that Bella Vu performed in the final night in Egypt was red like the color of poinsettias, the heart of designer Nguyen Minh Tuan. After the performances, Bella Vu was named in the Top 5 along with representatives from the US, Belgium, Egypt and the Philippines.

In the response section, when asked about leftovers, Bella Vu confidently answered in English. The 13-year-old girl shared:"There is a lot of food waste in the world, especially in North America, every year they throw away a lot of food waste, up to more than a ton of food waste. In my opinion, the solution to prevent food waste is to only take enough food for ourselves, because the food we don't finish will be left over and thrown away, which leads to environmental pollution and global warming."
With her good performance, Bella Vu was named for the highest position atMiss Eco Teen International 2021. She received the crown from her predecessor, Roberta Tamondong (Philippines). In addition, the Vietnamese representative was also named in the Top 10 of the talent competition, and won the first prize in the environmental costume. Meanwhile, the representative from the Philippines won the first runner-up prize. The contestant from the US won the second runner-up prize. The third and fourth runner-up titles went to Belgium and Egypt, respectively.

Sharing about her recent achievement, Bella Vu expressed her happiness. The 13-year-old contestant said that this was not a miracle, but the effort of herself and of everyone who has been accompanying her throughout this journey. Bella Vu said: “This year's contestants are all outstanding, not only in appearance but also in skills and knowledge, but I have always tried my best to conquer the highest position. I am very touched and surprised to receive great support from the audience at home and internationally. I am proud of the prestigious crown that I have received, not letting down all those who have been by my side, loved, accompanied and supported me, helping me to fulfill my dream of flying high with the Vietnamese flag in the international arena".
Bella Vu is of Vietnamese and Singaporean descent and has won high awards atPrince and Princess Internationalheld in Thailand in 2018. In 2019, Bella Vu participated in the contestLittle Miss Universein Georgia and won the title of Little Miss Elegance. At the age of 13, Vu Huyen Dieu was 1.68m tall. She showed her talent in performing, singing... and was well received by the audience.
