The end for the traitor
(Baonghean.vn) - Pham Thi Doan Trang's virtual fame is associated with the journey of a traitor to the country and people of Vietnam. Trang's bad reputation will certainly be very difficult to wash away.

In the first instance criminal trial of defendant Pham Thi Doan Trang (born 1978), residing in Dong Da district, Hanoi, for the crime of "Propaganda against the Socialist Republic of Vietnam", which took place on December 14, 2021, the Hanoi People's Court sentenced the defendant to 9 years in prison. This is a fitting sentence for someone who has gone against the interests of the nation and people, and gone against the historical values that our ancestors sacrificed to build and preserve.
Pham Thi Doan Trang (42 years old), residing in Cat Linh ward, Dong Da district, Hanoi; graduated from Hanoi-Amsterdam School and Hanoi Foreign Trade University and worked as a reporter for Vnexpress Electronic Newspaper, an employee of HAKI Advertising Company, VTC Digital Television Company, a contributor to Vietnamnet Newspaper and a reporter for Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper. In 2013, Trang left the country without permission and was disciplined and forced to quit her job. During this illegal exit, Trang was hooked up by a number of reactionary elements and lured into a life of crime, opposing the Party, the State and the People.

Under the direction and guidance of reactionary elements, Trang conducted subversive activities by establishing and participating in the management of many illegal associations and groups, such as: "Saigon Du Ca" group, "Youth to beautify the homeland". Taking advantage of the names of the groups, Trang and a number of other elements organized music performances to gather and spread songs from the Republic of Vietnam era, gathering a number of subjects in the literary and artistic community, young intellectuals to oppose...
In addition, Trang also created and operated websites such as: "Law Magazine", "Phamdoantrang.com", "The Vietnamese" to write and disseminate content distorting the situation of democracy and human rights in Vietnam, defaming the leaders of the Party and State, inciting opposition, calling for protests, and overthrowing the regime.
Pham Thi Doan Trang produced, stored, and circulated documents and articles with content aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The defendant stored the following documents: "Summary report on the marine environmental disaster in Vietnam"; "General assessment of the human rights situation in Vietnam"; "Report on assessment of the 2016 law on religion and belief related to the implementation of freedom of religion and belief in Vietnam". From there, Pham Thi Doan Trang gave interviews to foreign media with content distorting the State's guidelines and policies, as well as "defaming the people's government".

Trang is also the author of many books with content that guides and incites activities aimed at overthrowing the people's government such as "Popular Politics", "Prisoner's Handbook", "Non-Violent Resistance", etc.
The "sycophancy" of hostile forces
It is obvious that Pham Thi Doan Trang will be sentenced to prison. However, before and after the trial, some individuals and organizations posted information and arguments that distorted, defamed, and slandered Vietnam.
Under the guise of “human rights” and “democracy”, they accuse Vietnam of suppressing “dissidents” and “human rights” activists. Typically, since November 2021, “Luat Khoa Magazine” together with “The Vietnamese Magazine” and “The 88 Project” have launched a letter-writing campaign to Pham Thi Doan Trang, with the general content that Pham Thi Doan Trang is a true journalist, daring to go against the majority to speak the truth.
Or, at the “American Pen Foundation” (PEN), Director of the Freedom of Expression at Risk Program - Karin Deutsch Karlekar made distorted arguments that: "The international community has made it clear that the ongoing detention of Pham Thi Doan Trang is unacceptable". Or as the world organization Human Rights Watch (HRW) and the group called "The UN Human Rights Council Working Group on Arbitrary Detention" fabricated, baseless arguments about the investigation process to call for "the immediate release of Pham Thi Doan Trang".
In fact, the individuals, groups and organizations that put forward the above false arguments are all "manipulated" by anti-government elements. Their purpose is to distort the nature of the case, distort the investigation, prosecution and trial of Pham Thi Doan Trang. At the same time, they use the pretext to accuse Vietnam of violating democracy and human rights, and suppressing "dissidents" and "human rights activists". From there, they take advantage of the case to exert pressure, defame, and discredit Vietnam's image internationally, in order to carry out their plot to interfere in our country's internal affairs.
In essence, Pham Thi Doan Trang is just a tool for reactionary elements to carry out their purposes. Trang has connected with and received funding from reactionary elements of VOICE (a peripheral organization of the terrorist organization Viet Tan) to fight against the regime. They have infected Pham Thi Doan Trang with the information about a "Freedom Publishing House". From then on, Trang has devoted herself to writing and distributing many books with bad content, distorting and defaming the political system, the situation of democracy and human rights in Vietnam, the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws... To "reward" Trang's blind resistance, hostile forces have sponsored, supported and encouraged the awarding of the so-called Homo Homini human rights award and nominated her for the press freedom award.
With financial benefits and the illusion of becoming a famous writer and activist, Pham Thi Doan Trang has turned herself into a tool, a robot to serve reactionary and subversive organizations.
And when Trang was arrested, brought to court, and received a suitable sentence, the hostile forces revealed their “squeezing the lemon and throwing away the peel” nature. They only posted a few lines online based on the old tricks of “human rights”, “democracy”, “freedom of the press” to call themselves “protecting” Pham Thi Doan Trang. After that, they went looking for other disgruntled people, people with opposing thoughts to continue their sabotage activities. Of course, the name Pham Thi Doan Trang was deleted from their data when it was no longer useful. People call it “crocodile tears”.

On the day of her trial, Pham Thi Doan Trang still showed stubbornness, illusion, and insincerity in her testimony; but in the eyes of this female defendant, there was a sense of loneliness. For her own personal interests, Trang went against the common interests of the nation and people; against the tradition of solidarity and nation building of the Vietnamese people.
“Doan trang” is often used to describe women who have beauty in behavior, in spiritual life and in etiquette. But Pham Thi Doan Trang has gone against the meaning of her name, which also means that along with betraying the Fatherland, Trang is betraying herself./.
