In the fight against and suppression of law-breaking crimes at sea, the entire force has detected and arrested 625 cases with a total fine and payment to the state budget of over 30 billion VND, the value of the handed-over exhibits is estimated at 200 billion VND. Notably, in 2021, the 5th Vietnam - China Coast Guard Online Conference was successfully organized; the 17th Conference of Heads of Coast Guards of Asian Countries was successfully organized, being a responsible member of information sharing activities within the framework of the Recaap ISC Center.

The national online contest "Learning about the Law on the Vietnam Coast Guard" has the participation of many people at home and abroad with over 2 million entries.
