Once the key areas are in place, Vietnam will easily plan and invite professional and skilled investors to create unique products that are at the forefront and lead world trends.

Second, Vietnam needs to have a strategy to promote the image of Vietnam as a destination to the world in line with current technological trends. Invest a proportionate amount of money for the tourism industry to increase awareness in target markets, in order to create tourism demand to help businesses sell their products to customers...

In Vietnam, it is possible to apply the method of allocating 5-10% of the budget from the revenue from visiting scenic spots nationwide to create a part of the budget for systematic promotion work. Once the promotion work is done well, tourists will feel secure and bold to travel to Vietnam.

Nowadays, thosepolicyThe Government's tax reduction or support for workers and tourism businesses is very good and timely. However, from the Government to the local level, it is necessary to create regulations related to tourism activities in a synchronous and convenient manner to help tourism recover. The fact that localities send F1 guests to centralized quarantine and apply strict regulations for tourists who have been fully vaccinated with 2 doses of vaccine makes tourists very hesitant to travel...

It is recommended that the Government, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the General Department of Tourism invest more budget in promoting destination awareness to tourists in strategic and potential markets to help tourism businesses easily access and attract visitors to Vietnam.

Finally, tourism is a comprehensive economic sector and to develop it requires synchronization of technical infrastructure, tourism development policies and related industries, especially the service industry and supporting economic sectors. It is recommended that the Government and ministries have policies to support and encourage tourism development to mobilize resources from both public and private investment to develop tourism;

Pay attention to investing in the synchronous development of the transport system connecting major tourist centers across the country; prioritize tourism development in localities suitable to the advantages of each province and city in the overall development strategy of the destination.Vietnam travel; so that each locality has unique, classy tourism products and brands that are affirmed in the world market, creating developed tourism areas with typical cores to compete with countries in the region, attracting international tourism.

GrandfatherNguyen QuocPeriod- Chairman of the Board of Directors of Viettravel Tourism: Support, train, create jobs to avoid labor shortage in the tourism industry

According to statistics, the whole country has about 4.9 million workers working in the tourism sector, not to mention workers in related fields. However, recently, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this force has been narrowed and tends to shift to other industries.

A recent TAB survey found that 18% of businesses have laid off all their employees; 48%business50-80% of employees are laid off and 75% of businesses have various forms of financial support for laid-off workers.

At this time, most businesses are exhausted. Therefore, in order for tourism activities to be "revived" soon, on the one hand, businesses must find ways to retain workers, and on the other hand, they need financial support from the Government. At the same time, there must be a policy to support unemployed workers so that they do not leave the industry. Therefore, it is proposed to support businesses with a 0% interest loan package to pay salaries to workers to maintain human resources.

There needs to be a policy of support, training, and job creation to avoid a labor shortage in the tourism industry. This is a mandatory requirement because the labor force is specific and specialized, trained, and licensed.

SuggestionGovernmentConsider and study additional support options based on costs, instead of taxes, to support unprofitable businesses. Given the current business situation of the enterprise sector, it is advisable to implement a support policy based on labor costs to attract workers to return to work.

This policy can be implemented by allowing businesses in heavily affected industries and sectors to deduct higher labor costs than actual payments. Higher deductible labor costs can be expenses in the form of salaries, bonuses, etc.

To support workers, the Government is requested to allow an extension of the suspension of pension and death insurance payments and a delay in union fee payments for businesses and partners that are greatly affected by the pandemic.Covid-19 epidemicwithout interest, late payment penalties but still get health insurance.
