This morning (January 4), runner-up Kim Duyen announced that she had Covid-19, causing fans to worry. Kim Duyen also revealed her current health status: "I have been taking medication and resting, so my health has stabilized. I would like to thank everyone for their concern and concern."
The representative of the Organizing Committee of Miss Universe Vietnam said: "Runner-up Kim Duyen has shown symptoms of fever and sore throat since returning to Vietnam. After that, Kim Duyen was monitored for her health and received a positive rapid test result for SARS-CoV-2. Previously, at Dubai Airport and upon returning to Hanoi, Runner-up Kim Duyen as well as the entire delegation still received negative results. Currently, the entire delegation is being monitored for health at home for 3 days as requested."

Participating in Miss Universe 2021, Kim Duyen excellently entered the Top 16 finalists. Although she could not go far, Kim Duyen proved her efforts and had a "transformation" during the competition. After the Miss Universe 2021 contest, she went to Dubai to participate in a fashion show with Miss H'Hen Nie, Runner-up Vu Hoang My, Runner-up Mau Thuy, and Runner-up Le Hang. Closing the journey to conquer the Miss Universe 2021 crown, Runner-up Kim Duyen emotionally shared: "A journey with all the efforts, tears, happiness, regret, full of emotions and all thanks to the love of my brothers, sisters, family, friends and crew. Runner-up Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen was born in 1995, from Can Tho. She has a beautiful face, is 1.73m tall and has sexy measurements of 83-62-89 cm. The beauty won the title of Miss Elegant Student of Nam Can Tho University 2016, Top 10 Miss Ao Dai Vietnam 2014.
Kim Duyen graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Stamford Raffles University (Singapore). In 2019, she competed in Miss Universe Vietnam and won first runner-up. She represents Vietnam in the Miss Universe 2021 contest.
The Miss Universe 2021 final took place in Israel at 7:00 a.m. (Vietnam time) on December 13. As a result, runner-up Kim Duyen - Representative of Vietnam stopped at Top 16. The owner of the Miss Universe 2021 crown is the beauty Harnaaz Sandhu (21 years old) - representative of India.
