| The project to repair and upgrade the Hong Vang reservoir was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for its technical economic report under Decision No. 4126/QD.UBND-NN dated September 16, 2010. This is a level V project, assigned to the Thanh Chuong District People's Committee as the investor, and Duy Hung Construction and Supervision Consulting Joint Stock Company, located in Vinh City, to carry out the construction. | The section below the spillway of the dam has been eroded. During the 2020 flood season, water overflowing from the dam body eroded rocks and soil into an area of rice fields below the dam, forcing the local authorities to fix it themselves. According to the report of the Thanh Chuong District Construction Investment Project Management Board, up to now, the Hong Vang dam project has basically completed all items; has been granted more than 4.2 billion VND, of which the construction unit paid more than 3.9 billion VND and 370 million VND for other costs.
