Provincial Red Cross Society gives 250 million VND in support to the poor in Tan Ky district
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 9, in the program "Warm winter in the highlands", the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with Tan Ky district to provide financial support for road construction and give meaningful gifts to poor households and disadvantaged students in the area.

At the ceremony, the provincial Red Cross Society presented 150 million VND in support to build a concrete road in Van Giang hamlet, Nghia Hop commune; presented 2 cows to 2 households in especially difficult circumstances and presented 20 gifts to poor households, each worth 750,000 VND.
At the same time, the delegation also presented 274 warm uniforms to all students at Nghia Hop and Duong Le schools of Dung Hop Primary School.

On this occasion, the Provincial Red Cross presented a semi-industrial water purifier (capacity 100 liters/hour) to Nam Thai Kindergarten, Nam Dan district.
The funding source for the "Warm Winter in the Highlands" program is nearly 250 million VND, supported by organizations and individuals with kind hearts, especially the volunteer group "An Tinh Pho Co" Hanoi.

Mr. Pham Xuan Thach - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society said: The program "Warm winter in the highlands" in 2022 has demonstrated the spirit of "Mutual love", affection, sharing, and responsibility of the Provincial Red Cross Society and philanthropists to contribute to encouraging and helping students and families in difficult circumstances to have a warm and meaningful winter.
