On January 10, Tan Phu District Police, Ho Chi Minh City received a report from the family of Mr. NTD (born in 1983, residing on Tay Thanh Street, Tay Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District) about being attacked by a person living next door with a weapon.intentional infliction of injurybecause of a business conflict. Accordingly, Mr. D’s family and a man named T’s family (whose shop is next door) both sell medical alcohol. Because they sell the same product, there are often conflicts between the two stores about customer service and prices. Many times, the two sides have argued loudly with each other.
The climax was at noon on January 7, when Mr. D's family and Mr. T's family had a loud argument and then started fighting. While fighting, both sides broke into pieces of furniture. During the argument, T used a homemade knife to slash Mr. D, causing injuries to his arms, legs, and head. Ms. D.T.Th (born in 1953, Mr. D's mother) came out to stop the fight and was also injured in the arm. On T's side, someone was also injured. The incident was recorded by a camera.
After the fight, Mr. D was taken to the Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital for treatment. Mrs. Th was also taken to the hospital to receive 10 stitches on her arm. Mrs. Th said that during the fight, her son, Mr. D, suffered a stroke and was unable to run away in time, and was seriously injured by T.
Tan Phu District Police have brought a number of people involved in the brawl to headquarters for investigation.
