Boat capsizes while fishing, a man drowns
(Baonghean.vn) - According to information from the People's Committee of Thanh Phong commune, Thanh Chuong district, on the morning of January 11, Mr. Nguyen Tat Minh (63 years old), residing in Hamlet 3, Bai Son commune (Do Luong), went fishing for hire for Mr. Nguyen Van Chung, residing in Thanh Phong commune, unfortunately fell into the lake and died.

At 7am, while Mr. Nguyen Tat Minh was fishing on Con Ot Lake in Hamlet 4, Thanh Phong Commune, his fishing boat capsized. Although Mr. Minh was a good swimmer, when he fell into the lake, due to wearing a warm coat, boots, and a bulky hat, he could only swim about 15m before sinking.
Immediately after receiving news of a drowning person, local military and police forces coordinated with local people to organize a rescue.rescue, use a boat to fish and trawl the lake...
After nearly 2 hours of searching, at around 9am the same day, authorities recovered Mr. Minh's body at the scene of the boat capsize. He was already dead at this time.
It is known that Mr. Minh has been a fisherman for many years, often fishing for hire for people in and outside the district.
