According to the camera image that Ms. NTPT (born in 1995, residing in Vinh Loc A commune, mother of the robbed boy) provided to Binh Chanh District Police, at noon on January 12, her son was sitting with a girl on a bench in front of the house using a phone to study online.

A subject driving a motorbike into the alley, discovered the boy using the phone, so he turned around, jerked the motorbike and accelerated to run away. The boy panicked, cried and chased after the subject. At that time, Ms. T. thought her son was joking and fighting for the phone, so she did not react, just looked at the subject.
When the boy said he lost his phone, Ms. T. shouted and asked people to chase after him, but he had already disappeared. The camera in the alley recorded the subject's identity and license plate number.
