Provincial Labor Federation was awarded the Government's Emulation Flag.

On the morning of January 21, the Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to review trade union activities in 2021 and deploy tasks for 2022. Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. In 2021, with 17 key targets and tasks assigned by the General Confederation of Labor,Provincial Federation of Labor10 targets were exceeded and 6 targets were completed. Notably, the contents such as new recruitment; establishment, training and fostering of key union members; organization of Labor Conferences at State-owned enterprises; organization of dialogues; organization of Workers' Month... exceeded the targets many times.

Some important milestones such as launching the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union website, organizing"Happy Tet"with a total donation of more than 12.3 billion VND; organizing "Workers' Month", "Occupational Safety and Health Month" with the highlight being the program "Thanking workers" with a total budget of more than 2.5 billion VND; Trade unions at all levels spent more than 6.6 billion VND to support, prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic; Trade unions at all levels contributed more than 10,000 working days to organize Union Kitchens to serve the epidemic prevention work; Leading the country in the number of registrants and the number of people submitting initiatives in the program "75 thousand initiatives to overcome difficulties and develop"... In addition, other content areas also achieved many remarkable results with specific and impressive numbers.

The implementation of grassroots democracy regulations, negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements at enterprises, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises have been given attention. In addition to the functions and tasks of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, this year the Provincial Federation of Labor has also successfully advised on organizing the Conference to sign the Program of coordination between the Party Delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the period 2021 - 2025 and the Regulation on coordination between the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and the General Confederation on building trade union institutions in Nghe An province. Propaganda work has many breakthroughs, effectively promoting the use of online forms, modern communication, and digital communication.

With the theme "Caring for jobs and lives of workers; striving to fulfill the highest goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 12th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Resolution of the 18th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial General Confederation of Labor, term 2018 - 2023, the goals, targets and tasks of the Resolution of the Congress of trade unions at all levels", the Provincial General Confederation of Labor has identified a number of key tasks in 2022.

Attending the conference, many units such as the Labor Federation of Nghia Dan and Dien Chau districts, the Health and Education unions, etc. presented their experiences in innovating propaganda work, supporting epidemic prevention, resolving strikes, and taking care of workers, etc.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal, and the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation received the Emulation Flag of the Government for its outstanding achievements, completing tasks, and leading the patriotic emulation movement.

On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor also awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag to 5 collectives, and Certificates of Merit to 119 collectives and 269 individuals.outstanding achievementin trade union activities in 2021. On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit to 15 collectives and 67 individuals of Nghe An Trade Union for their contributions to the organization in the past time.

5 excellent collectives received the Emulation Flag of the Provincial Labor Federation:

1. Nghia Dan District Labor Federation;

2. Grassroots trade union of the Provincial People's Court;

3. Grassroots trade union of the People's Committee of Quy Hop district town;

4. Trade Union of Nghe An Oncology Hospital;

5. Grassroots trade union of the People's Committee of Hong Son ward, Vinh city.

Summarizing the conference, Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor acknowledged the sense of responsibility, timeliness, and effective adaptation of Nghe An trade unions at all levels during the Covid-19 outbreak. From the specific results, Mr. Kha Van Tam noted that trade unions at all levels need to ensure flexibility, creativity, innovation, and determination in their activities, proactively advise the Party Committee, actively coordinate with professionals, authorities, and units in implementation, and enhance the sense of responsibility, dedication, and exemplary role of trade union cadres.

Facing the tasks of 2022, the head of Nghe An Trade Union emphasized that trade unions at all levels need to calculate and effectively use the resources of the trade union organization, review the congress targets for implementation, focus on clarifying the role of trade unions in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, deploy emulation movements in a practical manner, focus on building grassroots trade unions and developing union members, and promote propaganda work...
