Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee presents Tet gifts in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 27, the Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with the Central Vietnam Red Cross Society to organize the Tet gift giving program for the poor and Agent Orange victims in Thanh Duong commune, Thanh Chuong district and Yen Thanh district.
Participating in the gift giving ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa - Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education; Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, along with leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society and leaders of Thanh Chuong district.

This time, the delegation presented 105 gifts, including 100 gifts from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, each gift worth 650 thousand, including 500 thousand in cash and 1 gift worth 150 thousand. Presented 5 gifts from the PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Company (Phu My Fertilizer), each gift worth 1 million VND in cash. These are 5 out of a total of 500 gifts that the company presented to Nghe An province on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.
On this occasion, the delegation also visited, encouraged and gave gifts to 3 households in especially difficult circumstances in Thanh Duong commune, each gift worth 1 million VND.

Also on the same day, the delegation visited and presented 80 Tet gifts to poor households and those in especially difficult circumstances.Agent Orange Victimsin Yen Thanh district.
It is known that on the occasion of Lunar New Year, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society sent 300 gifts to Nghe An. In addition to the 180 gifts given in Yen Thanh and Thanh Chuong, the remaining 120 gifts will be given by Que Phong district to the poor and Military Hospital 4 to patients on dialysis./.
