On the morning of January 28, on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2022), celebrating the Year of the Tiger 2022, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province held a flower and incense offering ceremony at the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site and the Memorial Site of General Secretary Le Hong Phong.

At the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province respectfully offered flowers and incense to express their infinite gratitude and deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh.
In 2021, despite the difficulties caused by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, under the drastic, flexible and effective leadership, direction and management of the Party Committee and the government, and the efforts of the entire political system together with the people, businesses, socio-economy, national defense and security, the Party building work of the province achieved important results with many bright spots.

Nghe An's levels and sectors have proactively, actively and promptly implemented the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress; successfully organized the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term.
The province has also proactively proposed and actively coordinated with central agencies to submit to the National Assembly for approval Resolution No. 36 on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province.
Economic growth reached 6.2%, higher than the national average; industry and agriculture maintained high growth, total export turnover reached 2.43 billion USD, budget revenue reached nearly 19,000 billion VND, the highest ever.

Cultural and social activities have been flexibly adjusted to adapt to the Covid-19 epidemic situation. People's health care, especially disease prevention and control, has been focused on and directed resolutely and effectively. Administrative reform has had many positive changes.
The material and spiritual life of the people is increasingly improved, especially the province always pays attention and appropriate resources to poverty reduction work, well implementing the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind". Preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year 2022, in addition to the State budget, the province has mobilized nearly 125 billion VND from social resources to support the poor to celebrate Tet more fully.

Next, the delegation went to the Memorial Site of the late General Secretary Le Hong Phong in Hung Thong commune (Hung Nguyen) to offer flowers and incense in memory, expressing their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of the late General Secretary Le Hong Phong.

Comrade Le Hong Phong was a staunch communist soldier, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, an outstanding leader of the Party, a shining example of revolutionary spirit; a person whose name is associated with a challenging and arduous period of the Vietnamese revolution.
With 40 years of age and 20 years of active revolutionary activities, his contributions to the Vietnamese revolutionary movement were enormous. His life and career will always be a source of pride and a shining example for many generations to follow.
