Dien Chau mobilizes and propagates workers of Viet Glory Company Limited to return to work soon
(Baonghean.vn) - One year after the first strike, on February 7, 2022, workers at Viet Glory Company Limited continued to strike with the participation of nearly 2,500 workers. With the mobilization and explanation of all levels and sectors, workers are no longer gathered at the Company gate.

After lunch break, when it was time to start the afternoon shift, all the workers did not go to work but gathered outside to demand their rights with the following content:
1- Ask the company to increase basic salary.
2- Claim seniority allowance.

Immediately after receiving the information, departments and branches of Dien Chau district including the District People's Committee; Labor Federation; Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; District Police; People's Committee and Dien Truong Commune Police were present to participate in mobilizing and propagating workers to return to work soon.

Representatives of the parties expressed their opinions and analyzed the reasons and causes leading to thewildcat strikeDirecting the meeting, Mr. Le Manh Hien - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee concluded: By all means, the Company must resolve and respond to the workers' petitions immediately on the afternoon of February 7, 2022. The district has established an interdisciplinary working group to review the policies and regimes that the workers petitioned to determine right and wrong, from which a written notice will be issued to all workers, ensuring that on the morning of February 8, all workers return to work normally.

Regarding the strike at Viet Glory (Dien Chau): The company has responded in writing to 11 requests from workers.
(Baonghean.vn) - Regarding the collective work stoppage at Viet Glory Company Limited (located in Dien Truong commune, Dien Chau district), late this afternoon, February 8, the company's leaders issued a written response to 11 requests from workers.
VietGlory Company Limited was established on November 19, 2019 under Certificate No. 2902020657 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Nghe An province, located at Hamlet 8, Dien Truong commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province. Currently, there are over 5,000 workers working and the company is in the process of constructing phase 2. Previously, after the Lunar New Year holiday in 2021, this company had an accident.strike of nearly 1,400 workers.The strike was triggered by workers’ demands for benefits that had not been resolved before Tet. After the Dien Chau District Labor Federation joined the strike, the company established a grassroots union in March 2021.
