Provincial Party Secretary awards Party badges to veteran party members in Nam Dan

(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial Party Secretary hopes to continue receiving encouragement from veteran party members in the process of implementing the goals and tasks of developing the province, including Nam Dan continuing to strive to build a model new-style rural district.

On the afternoon of February 18, the Standing Committee of Nam Dan District Party Committee held a ceremony to award Party badges to veteran party members.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Duc Cuong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Nam Dan District People's Council, and comrades in the Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the Nam Dan District Party Committee.

At the ceremony, comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee awarded the 75-year Party badge to comrades: Duong Bay, born on October 10, 1919, currently residing in Hong Long commune; Bui Trong Thanh, born on May 10, 1925, currently residing in Nam Thanh commune; Tran Dinh Tuyen, born on February 3, 1924, currently residing in Trung Phuc Cuong commune; Dang Cuong, born on April 20, 1927, currently residing in Trung Phuc Cuong commune and Le Thi Van, born on October 10, 1928, currently residing in Sa Nam block, Nam Dan town.

Comrade Duong Bay participated in the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Hong Long commune for many years, was an office staff member, a commune committee staff member, and participated in the cooperative management board until his retirement.

Comrade Bui Trong Thanh participated in secret communication and self-defense combat in Nam Thanh commune; joined the Vietnam People's Army; after demobilization, returned to his locality and continued to participate in military and police work of the commune, district, and province, and participated in work at the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Comrade Tran Dinh Tuyen and comrade Dang Cuong, who participated in the guerrillas, devoted many years to protecting security and order in the commune and joined the Vietnam People's Army.

Comrade Le Thi Van joined the commune's guerrilla militia, actively participated in the commune's women's work, cooperatives and participated in work for the elderly and retirees...

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy acknowledged and highly appreciated the dedication and contributions and congratulated the veteran party members on being awarded the 75-year Party membership badge.

This is a noble reward, the Party's recognition of the dedication and contribution of each Party member to the Party's revolutionary cause; and also a great honor, a milestone in the process of striving, training and dedication of each Party member, as well as for the Party organization, the Party cell where the comrades live, their family and their neighborhood.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: Each comrade honored to receive the 75-year Party badge in the 3/2 period, although performing different tasks in different conditions, circumstances, working environments and lives, has one thing in common: they are ready to dedicate themselves to serving the revolution and the country; always strive to improve themselves and strive to improve throughout their activities to contribute to the organization, unit, movement, homeland and country.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Party Secretary also informed about some highlights of the Provincial Party Committee and the province in 2021. Accordingly, in the difficult context due to the profound impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the spirit of the Party Committee and the people of the whole province has remained steadfast and continued to be highly promoted, especially the spirit of solidarity and unity from within the Party to socio-political organizations and the masses. The camaraderie and solidarity of the people have been multiplied. From that foundation, the province has achieved very positive results in 2021.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: Veteran party members are typical examples, vivid images, and shining examples for their children, communities, hamlets, communes, districts, and provinces; and are the spiritual support for future generations to continue to strive to advance.

In the current context, the entire Party Committee, army and people of the province need to join hands and unite to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress. The Provincial Party Secretary hopes to continue to receive encouragement and support from veteran Party members in the process of implementing the set goals and tasks, including Nam Dan district, which is to continue to strive to build a model new rural district.

On behalf of the party members receiving the 75-year Party membership badge, comrade Bui Trong Thanh expressed his emotion and thanked the Provincial Party Secretary for his good wishes and thanked Nam Dan District Party Committee for organizing the solemn ceremony.

In the Party Badge Award Ceremony on February 3 this year, the Nam Dan District Party Committee had 9 comrades honored to receive the Party Badge, including 8 comrades with 75 years of Party membership and 11 comrades with 70 years of Party membership. Due to health conditions, 5 comrades with 75 years of Party membership attended today's ceremony.
