Arrested 2 subjects specializing in petty theft
(Baonghean.vn) - Police in Yen Thanh and Anh Son districts have just arrested subjects who specialize in sneaking into people's homes and causing dozens of property thefts.
On February 22, Yen Thanh District Police said that the unit is temporarily detaining Nguyen Van Phuc (born in 1992), residing in Yen Thanh town, Yen Thanh district, for theft of property.
Previously, at 1:30 p.m. on February 18, 2022, Yen Thanh District Police received a report from Mr. PXH (born in 1977), residing in Hop Thanh Commune, about his family being robbed of an electric motorbike. Immediately after that, after investigation and verification, Yen Thanh District Police arrested Nguyen Van Phuc for the act oftheft of propertyAt the investigation agency, through the struggle, the subject Phuc confessed to stealing the electric motorbike of Mr. PXH.
Through further investigation, the unit clarified 5 more cases of theft of property including electric motorbikes and electric bicycles by Nguyen Van Phuc and Tran Khac Hoang (born in 1995), residing in Cong Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, to get money for personal spending and drug use.

On the same day, February 22, Anh Son District Police said they were temporarily detaining Nguyen Duc Vinh (born in 1993), residing in Phuc Son Commune, for theft of property.
On February 20, 2022, the Criminal Investigation Police Team on criminal, economic and drug crimes of Anh Son District Police arrested Nguyen Duc Vinh and seized the evidence, which was the mobile phone that the subject had stolen from Mr. T.
Vinh has three previous convictions for theft. After being released from prison, due to laziness, Vinh continued to steal property for personal use and online gambling. In addition to the above theft, Vinh admitted to having committed two other thefts of property and cash from private homes with a total value of about 20 million VND.
