Currently, the biggest challenge for Cua Lo Port, besides competing with Nghi Son Port (Thanh Hoa) and Vung Ang Port (Ha Tinh), is the frequent occupation of the wharf by fishing boats, hindering wharf operations, maritime safety, and security and order at the port. In addition, the waters in front of the wharf are constantly silted up, resulting in costly annual maintenance and repair expenses.
International container transshipment fromCua Lo portTransporting goods through Hai Phong port is very difficult due to the time-consuming nature of the route, the high costs of lifting and handling, and the transportation of containers and transshipment. The channel into Ben Thuy port is shallow, only suitable for vessels under 2,000 DWT. Furthermore, the ongoing and complex Covid-19 pandemic continues to negatively impact the production and business operations of enterprises.
Overcoming all difficulties, the leadership of Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company has determined that there is no better solution than to provide the best care for existing customers, attract new customers, and serve them attentively, efficiently, and with dedication. Professional service is the measure of effectiveness in operations, always valuing customers and living up to its reputation as a port with a rich tradition and heroic history in both combat and production. Fast vessel turnaround, competitive technical innovation, ensuring safety in loading and unloading, professional operations, convenient services, expanding wharfs, and attracting cargo sources… remain the solutions that give Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company confidence in its future development, with a stable base of professional transport customers and expertise in maritime services.
Nghe Tinh Port, formerly Ben Thuy Port, has a history of nearly 100 years of formation and development, including more than 50 years of construction and growth. Since December 31, 2009, Nghe Tinh Port has completed its transformation into Nghe Tinh Port Company Limited - a member of Vietnam Maritime Corporation.
