Nearly 300 teachers attend the 2022 primary school excellent homeroom teacher contest

This year's contest gathered 276 primary school teachers from 21 education and training departments across the province. These are teachers who have won the title.good teacherProvincial, have good capacity in homeroom work, have initiatives in educational activities (homeroom work, experiential activities...) from the grassroots level and above. Particularly in the 2020-2021 school year, be classified as having completed the task well or better according to regulations on assessment and classification of the quality of cadres, civil servants and public employees.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, comrade Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training congratulated the teachers participating in the 2022 Contest for Excellent Homeroom Teachers. The contest aims to discover, recognize, and honor teachers who have achieved the title of excellent teachers, excellent homeroom teachers, and to promote advanced models.

At the same time, it motivates teachers to strive and improve themselves to meet the requirements of innovation, improve the quality of education, and develop their careers. Thereby, it contributes to improving the effectiveness of professional activities and promoting emulation movements in teaching and learning in schools; encouraging, motivating, and creating opportunities for teachers to practice, self-study, be creative, learn, exchange, communicate, and disseminate experiences in caring for, nurturing, and educating children for preschool teachers; teaching and homeroom work for general education teachers.

Emphasizing the significance of this contest, the head of the Department of Education and Training said that the 2018 General Education Program aims to comprehensively promote students' abilities. Therefore, in addition to learning abilities, all students' talents and strengths are respected and evaluated equally.

In that context, ensuring the quality of primary education will be the first step to ensure output standards for students, educating students on ethical behavior and cultural conduct. To achieve the set goals, teachers must teach the right subjects, appropriate to the students.

In addition, it is necessary to grasp the students' thoughts, aspirations and progress, teach students how to think, discipline methods, and learning awareness to create a foundation for future levels of education. Schools must also ensure the quality of general education, build a culture of quality to build a school culture.

The Director of the Department also said that primary school teachers, long considered as “general teachers”, are in charge of many subjects. Therefore, the responsibility of teachers is to train students to study well and help students develop comprehensively and progress every day.

From the above meaning, in this contest, comrade Thai Van Thanh suggested that teachers participating in the contest must promote their full capacity. Immediately after this contest, teachers must continue to spread to have more good teaching hours, more good classes. Schools also need to promote professional group connections, enhance exchanges between colleagues in clusters and regions to be able to develop expertise, profession, and share experiences.

The competition is scheduled to last for 3 weeks and end at the end of March 2022.

In this contest, teachers will participate in 2 parts including presenting measures to improve the quality of homeroom teaching and practical exam on educational activities. To ensure the safety of candidates during the contest, the Department of Education and Training organized 2 contest clusters in Dien Chau district and Con Cuong district.

For teachers who are F0 subjects, the Organizing Committee will postpone the time so that candidates can complete their exam./.
