Nghe An strives to have 15,000 initiatives to overcome difficulties and defeat the Covid-19 pandemic
(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the program "1 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the Covid-19 pandemic" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Nghe An Trade Union set a goal of achieving 15,000 initiatives.
On the morning of March 11, Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation held an online conference to deploy the program "1 million initiatives - efforts"overcome difficulties, creativity,determined to defeat the Covid-19 pandemic".

The conference deployed specific contents in Plan No. 13/KH-LĐLĐ on implementing the Program "01 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the Covid-19 pandemic".
Accordingly, the program implementation progress is divided into 2 phases: Phase 1 updates from March 1, 2022 to May 31, 2022 for eligible initiatives recognized in the period from September 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022; Phase 2 updates participating initiatives from June 1, 2022 to September 1, 2023 for eligible initiatives recognized in this period.
The target set for phase 1 is 3,000 initiatives, phase 2 is 12,000 initiatives, striving for each district, industry, and affiliated grassroots labor federation to have 10% of union members, union officials, civil servants, and public employees.workeror more have initiative to participate in the program.
Participating initiatives are initiatives recognized by the grassroots initiative council or the head of the agency, unit, or enterprise and updated by union members, workers, civil servants, employees, or trade union levels on the Vietnam Trade Union Online Portal to participate in the program at the address:https://congdoanvietnam.org.
According to the plan, to encourage and motivate union members and workers to participate in the program, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation and trade unions at all levels will organize to commend and reward outstanding initiatives, collectives and individuals on a quarterly and periodic basis.

At the conference, comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy - Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Labor Federation contributed ideas on propaganda methods to spread the program and achieve the set goals.
Accordingly, each union official at all levels needs to clearly understand Plan No. 13 and divide it into stages to have appropriate propaganda methods. The first stage needs to propagate the plan's contents, the next stage is to promote, urge, promote the spirit of emulation, commend, and remind. The finishing stage needs to be accelerated. Summarizing the conference, Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged the contributions and emphasized that the District Labor Federation needs to develop a detailed and methodical plan, deploy the program to each union member, determine the minimum number of initiatives at each stage, each unit, focus on propaganda work, update participation results, promptly recognize and encourage to create competition, especially in the group of initiatives at enterprises. In addition, for the program to be successful, there needs to be coordination and participation of agencies, unions, district and industry leaders.
In order for the program to achieve its goals, he also requested that the committees assign union officials to monitor the district and industry, and that the district and industry union officials assign support.memberat the grassroots union. Units that encounter difficulties in the implementation process as well as implementation costs can report to the Provincial Federation of Labor for support.
As of the morning of March 10, 2022, Nghe An is the 4th province in the country with 379 submissions of initiatives to participate.“1 million initiatives – efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to win the Covid-19 pandemic”, in which Anh Son district has the highest number of participating initiatives. In the province, 28 district and sector trade union units have issued implementation plans, 11 units have organized launching conferences.
