Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in coordination with Thien Tam Fund gave gifts to seriously wounded and sick soldiers in Nam Dan
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 12, in order to express gratitude and support wounded and sick soldiers in difficult times, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated with Thien Tam Fund and Vingroup Corporation to present gifts to 88 seriously wounded and sick soldiers in Nam Dan district.
Attending the award ceremony were comrade Doan Hong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Duong Quynh - representative of Vingroup Corporation.
On the side of Nam Dan district, there was comrade Nguyen Hong Son - Chairman of the District People's Committee.
Nghe An is one of three provinces that are managing and paying regular and one-time allowances to people with great revolutionary contributions nationwide. Up to now, the whole province has been paying regular allowances to more than 68,400 subjects (of which war invalids: 30,300, sick soldiers: 9,540...) with a monthly payment of over 130 billion VND.

With the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", Nghe An has received contributions from businesses, agencies, organizations and people of all walks of life in the work of caring for wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and people with revolutionary contributions, including contributions from Thien Tam Fund.
This year, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated with the Vingroup Thien Tam Fund to give gifts to 1,118 seriously wounded and sick soldiers with a disability rate of 81% in cities, towns and 2 care centers for seriously wounded and sick soldiers in Nghe An province... with the amount of 16,770,000,000 VND.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony for seriously wounded and sick soldiers, comrade Doan Hong Vu - Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs affirmed: The meaningful gifts are a great source of encouragement for wounded and sick soldiers and people with revolutionary contributions to continue to strive to rise up and feel secure in life. Hopefully, in the coming time, Nghe An province will continue to receive the attention and sharing of Thien Tam Fund and Vingroup Group for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives in the area.
The representative of Thien Tam Fund also expressed deep gratitude for the contributions of the wounded and sick soldiers, and hoped that they would continue to promote the precious tradition and qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers to continue to live happily and healthily, recover their functions and coordinate well with the staff, civil servants, and doctors at the center to perform well the tasks of nurturing and treating them.
