Opening and operating the reporting information system of Nghe An province

There are still many immediate and long-term tasks that need to be carried out.
On the afternoon of March 16, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held an opening ceremony and put into operation the Provincial Reporting Information System for the period 2021-2025. The ceremony was held online at 21 connecting points in districts, cities and towns.

STEP BY STEP ELIMINATE PAPER WORK PROCESSING
The Nghe An Provincial Reporting Information System (hereinafter referred to as the System) is built and formed in compliance with the architectural and technological framework of the Government Reporting Information System, with the goal of digitizing reporting regimes. The system helps collect and integrate reporting data of specialized agencies and departments from the provincial to the communal level, in order to synthesize and analyze data to serve the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The system ensures a close connection between innovation in working methods and IT application in serving the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. The system helps to increase publicity, transparency, and enhance the responsibility of specialized agencies in providing information and data to serve the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Nghe An province reporting information system is designed and customized on the same technology platform as the Government reporting information system, ensuring consistency, efficiency, synchronization, connection, and interconnection at 4 levels: from commune/ward/town level to Ministry, branch/Central level. The Nghe An province reporting information system is provided at the addresshttps:// baocao.nghean.gov.vn.
Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee Office has coordinated with VNPT Nghe An to pilot the Nghe An Provincial Reporting Information System and connect and integrate with the Government Reporting Information System. The pilot has been implemented at 43 agencies and units, including 22 Departments, branches and sectors; 21 People's Committees of districts, towns and cities and communes, wards and towns in the whole province and has been completed and put into operation.

In addition to other platforms and information systems deployed in the province in recent times, the Nghe An Provincial Reporting Information System will be an important highlight in building e-Government, towards digital government, actively contributing to the goal of promoting administrative reform, gradually eliminating the processing of work by paper documents, contributing to saving the annual budget.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the operation of the new System is just the first step in the process of innovating working methods and digital transformation in management and operation activities of the Provincial People's Committee, sectors and levels.
"There are still many immediate and long-term tasks that need to be carried out, requiring the drastic and synchronous participation of departments, branches, localities, and service providers. Especially reviewing reporting regimes, standardizing reporting regimes; updating, connecting, and sharing to form and enrich the comprehensive database on socio-economics," said comrade Nguyen Duc Trung.

In the coming time, the head of the Provincial People's Committee requested that Departments, branches and localities continue to thoroughly grasp the spirit of innovation in implementing the construction of e-Government and digital Government, linking public administration reform with digital transformation in the operations of agencies and units. Strongly promote, foster and improve the capacity of information technology, cadres, civil servants and public employees working in the network environment.
Provide accurate, reliable, transparent, and unified data information; do not monopolize information or embellish data to gain achievements. Standardize and digitize reporting regimes on the System in a timely manner; Promote digital interconnectivity and information sharing, towards building a digital government that is honest, transparent, and active, serving the people and businesses.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial People's Committee Office to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches and localities to advise on the selection of socio-economic indicators and indicators serving the daily direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee to standardize and standardize reporting and provision regimes on the System; ensure the security and safety of the System.

The Department of Information and Communications guides agencies and localities on solutions for integrating digital signatures and authenticating digital signatures on the Nghe An Provincial Reporting Information System within the scope of assigned functions and tasks. Connect the System with the Provincial Common Data Sharing and Integration Platform (LGSP) in accordance with the approved Nghe An Provincial e-Government architecture. VNPT Nghe An ensures human resources and technical infrastructure to implement tasks, ensuring connection with the Government Reporting Information System on schedule and with quality.
Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized that building and developing digital government is an inevitable trend, aiming to enhance the openness and transparency of the government, push back corruption and waste; contribute to promoting economic growth, improving the business environment, enhancing competitiveness and social labor productivity.
