Donated 5 tons of bananas to hospitals in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On March 19, the Youth Unions of the Department of Finance, Department of Transport, Department of Planning and Investment, and Nghe An Radio and Television Station visited several hospitals in the province to donate 5 tons of bananas, contributing to sharing with doctors and patients.
Responding to the spirit of movementStanding Committee of Provincial Youth UnionNghe An, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union on accompanying and supporting the consumption of farmers' products, the Youth Union branches including: Department of Finance, Department of Transport, Department of Planning and Investment, Nghe An Radio and Television Station have contacted and connected with Youth Union organizations in provinces across the country to support and rescue agricultural products for people.
In Ninh Thuan province, faced with the situation that traders stopped buying bananas to export to China, many farmers abandoned their gardens and let the bananas ripen. The Youth Unions have stepped in, "rescue” 5 tons of bananas, helping local people overcome this difficult period.

After participating in the "rescue" of products for Ninh Thuan people, these 5 tons of bananas were transported to a number of hospitals in Nghe An province, including: Nghe An Mental Health and War Invalids Nursing Area, Vinh City General Hospital; Nghe An General Hospital, Mental Hospital; Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital; Field Hospital No. 8, Oncology Hospital.

Although the gift is not large, it is a source of spiritual encouragement, showing the care and sharing of the youth union members to the patients being treated at the hospitals, helping them overcome their illness to recover soon and return to their loving families.

Receiving this source of bananas, hospital representatives expressed their gratitude to the Youth Unions and promised to deliver all the bananas to departments and rooms to give to patients.
