Fire destroyed people's houses and property due to carelessness in cooking.
(Baonghean.vn) - A fire suddenly broke out and burned down the wooden house with buried pillars and all the furniture inside of Mr. Lo Van Hoan's family (born in 1938) residing in Pung Bon village, Huu Khuong commune (Tuong Duong). This is one of the households in a particularly difficult situation in the village.
On the afternoon of March 20, Ms. Pit Thi Thoa - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Huu Khuong Commune (Tuong Duong) said: "At 8:00 a.m. on March 20, a fire broke out in Pung Bon village, Huu Khuong commune. Immediately after receiving the information, the commune government mobilized forces and people in the village to join hands to overcome the damage and transport the remaining belongings to a safe area. Initially, the local government supported Mr. Hoan's family with 1.5 million VND, including cash and some necessities.

It is known that at the time of the fire, Mr. Hoan and his wife were not at home. When the fire was big, people discovered it and called everyone to put it out. Because it was discovered late and the house was made of wood, the fire burned too quickly. Despite great efforts, they were still unable to put out the fire or save the property inside the house. The total damage is estimated at over 50 million VND.

Fortunately, there were no casualties. The cause of the fire was initially believed to be carelessness in using fire for cooking.
