New development momentum for the central urban area of Northwest Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - The consistent goal of the Party Committee and People of Thai Hoa town by 2025 is to become a type III urban area, the central urban area of the Northwest region of Nghe An. This goal has been and is being determinedly and resolutely implemented by the Party Committee and People of the town.

Good news at the beginning of 2022,Thai Hoa townattracted 5 more projects with a total investment of 656 billion VND. Of which, the project of manufacturing and processing high-end leather footwear products of Shun An Company Limited has been approved by the Provincial People's Committee for investment policy, focusing on site clearance to start construction in June 2022. The Thai Hoa Garment Factory project of Bac Son Company Limited is completing construction procedures, expected to start construction in May 2022.
The town is also actively coordinating and accompanying investors to complete investment procedures so that the remaining 3 projects can start construction in 2022 and 2023. These include the plastic additives and plastic film factory of Viet Trung Plastic and Chemical Joint Stock Company; the steel and corrugated iron manufacturing and processing factory of Minh Phat Joint Stock Company; and the industrial sewing workshop of Tai Vuong Investment Company Limited.

According to comrade Pham Chi Kien - Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the Town People's Committee: In addition to attracting leading investment capital - public investment to build economic - social infrastructure to serve development requirements, the town actively promotes foreign affairs activities, contacts, and invites investors to attract investment projects in production, business, and urban development.
Specifically, TX.Thai HoaPrioritize attracting light industrial production projects, service and trade projects; urban area projects; high-tech agricultural production projects... Along with that, strongly improve the investment and business environment through administrative procedure reform, creating favorable conditions for investors.

In each specific project, the town establishes a working group, assigning responsibility to the provincial departments and branches to support and accompany investors in completing investment procedures and implementing the project. When there are any problems, the town's project implementation steering committee will step in to resolve them, creating the most favorable conditions for investors.
In site clearance, the town mobilized the entire political system to participate, increased propaganda, advocacy and dialogue with the people, creating consensus and agreement to hand over the site, not letting investors wait for investment site.
With that determination, from 2020 to now, Thai Hoa town has attracted 16 investment projects in production and business with a total investment of over 1,000 billion VND. Among them, there are many projects that are driving forces for urban development of the town, such as the Commercial Area Project, supermarket combined with Shophouse townhouses; Rest Stop along Ho Chi Minh Road; Truong Thang Commercial Service Area, Auto and Motorcycle Showroom; Toyota Vehicle Repair and Warranty Service and Product Introduction Center; Honda Auto Tay Nghe An Dealer; Hung Cuong Commercial Service Complex and Event Restaurant in Long Son Ward...

Many investment projects in production, contributing to the shift of economic structure, labor structure, and creating jobs for local people have also been attracted. Such as the factory for joining wooden bars and civil woodwork at Nghia My Industrial Park; Factory for producing canned drinking water from cassava roots; Thien Phu construction materials mechanical processing factory; CaCO3 stone powder processing factory... The town is also implementing the construction of a project for a concentrated forest product processing area for carpentry villages.
Along with attracting investment, the town also prioritizes planning work. Currently, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the adjustment of the town's general planning and a construction planning project; the town's land use planning until 2030. The town is actively coordinating to establish a planning project for the construction of the existing urban center, the expanded urban development area, Dong Hieu urban area, Long Son and Nghia My urban areas; planning the ecological area on both sides of Hieu River; urban planning in Long Son and Nghia My wards...

New development momentum
Entering 2022, Thai Hoa town will celebrate its 15th anniversary. According to comrade Tran Khanh Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of Thai Hoa Town Party Committee: The Party Committee and People of Thai Hoa town clearly realize that the town has never had such a good opportunity and development momentum as it does now when the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee issued a separate resolution for the town - Resolution No. 02-NQ/TU, dated July 2, 2021 on building and developing Thai Hoa town into a central urban area of the Northwest region of Nghe An.
The Provincial People's Council also issued Resolution No. 13/2021/NQ-HDND, dated October 18, 2021 "Regulations on a number of specific policies to support the development of Thai Hoa town into a central urban area of the Northwest Nghe An region, period 2022 - 2025".

The most important thing of Resolution No. 02-NQ/TU is to clearly orient the development goals of the town, becoming a type III urban area by 2025, a provincial city before 2030; being a center of services, trade, education, healthcare, vocational training and high-tech agriculture in the Northwest region of Nghe An.
Along with those goals are clearly defined targets, tasks, and solutions for provincial departments and branches to join in supporting the town.
Resolution No. 13/2021/NQ-HDND of the Provincial People's Council is to create more mechanisms, policies, and large resources for the town to realize the goal of becoming the central urban area of the Northwest region of Nghe An.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee also added: Based on the two resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Council, the Standing Committee of the Thai Hoa Town Party Committee has directed the concretization through resolutions, directives, programs, plans, projects, notices, decisions... to implement annually and for the entire period of 2021 - 2025.
In the immediate future, based on the town's proposal, the province has included a number of key projects and works in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025, such as the National Highway 48 bypass project through the center of Thai Hoa town; Bau Park project; the traffic project from National Highway 48D to N8 crossroad... Thai Hoa town has also developed a medium-term public investment plan for the town, period 2021 - 2025 with a total planned capital of 343 billion VND.
The town continues to promote investment attraction with the motto "proactively finding and retaining investors, not waiting for investors to come to you".

Along with attracting investment in infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure to expand urban space; attracting investment projects in production and business suitable for the economic structure of the town, Thai Hoa town focuses on developing agriculture in the direction of high technology, organic production, building products of plants and animals with special and endemic characteristics; developing agriculture associated with eco-tourism and experiential tourism.
The movement to build advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas and civilized urban areas has been and is continuing to be directed with focus to create comprehensive development of the town, especially its appearance, creating close connections between urban and rural areas.
Clearly identifying opportunities and determined to innovate thinking, taking drastic actions to realize the goal of becoming a central urban area of the Northwest has contributed to improving the leadership, direction, management, and organization capacity of the Party Committee, government, and political system from the town to the grassroots; contributing to building and consolidating a strong Party organization and political system, and strengthening people's trust in the Party Committee and government. This is an important factor for Thai Hoa town to "take off".
