Discovering the incident, security forces subdued the suspect and notified the police to promptly arrest him.

At the police station, Tran Tuan Anh confessed that because his family owed about 2 billion VND, he planned to rob a bank to get money to pay off the debt.

From March 29, Tuan Anh traveled from Vinh Phuc to Thai Nguyen, rented a room and went around the city to find a place to commit the crime.

On the afternoon of March 31, seeing that the Dan transaction office was deserted, Tuan Anh decided to commit a bank robbery.
