Young man robbed a bank to...pay off a 2 billion debt for his family
Suspect Tran Tuan Anh (born in 1995, residing in Hung Vuong ward, Phuc Yen city, Vinh Phuc province) confessed that because his family owed about 2 billion VND, he planned to rob to pay off the debt.
Thai Nguyen Provincial Police informed that at around 5:00 p.m. on March 31, Tran Tuan Anh (born in 1995, residing in Hung Vuong Ward, Phuc Yen City, Vinh Phuc Province), drove a motorbike to the Dan transaction office (Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development), Nam Thai Nguyen branch.

Discovering the incident, security forces subdued the suspect and notified the police to promptly arrest him.
At the police station, Tran Tuan Anh confessed that because his family owed about 2 billion VND, he planned to rob a bank to get money to pay off the debt.
From March 29, Tuan Anh traveled from Vinh Phuc to Thai Nguyen, rented a room and went around the city to find a place to commit the crime.
On the afternoon of March 31, seeing that the Dan transaction office was deserted, Tuan Anh decided to commit a bank robbery.

The leader of the People's Committee of Thinh Dan Ward (Thai Nguyen City, Thai Nguyen Province) said that the suspect brought gasoline to the transaction office with the intention of threatening to rob money. However, during the process, the suspect was restrained and arrested by security guards and staff.
