Speaking at the conference, after listening to the opinions, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu stated: With the goal ofsafe, efficiency is put first, localities need to focus on sowing the summer-autumn crop as soon as possible, depending on the spring rice harvest time and the ability to regulate water for planting, choosing the time to sow seedlings, and sowing directly.
It is considered a production season where pests have complicated developments, so the investigation, detection and control of pests must be carried out early and drastically to increase the effectiveness of control.

In particular, based on the irrigation water situation, have a suitable production plan, do not produce at all costs; have a planstructural changecrops to both increase production value and increase resistance to the impacts of drought and floods.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also directed the irrigation sector and localities to develop plans to ensure adequate irrigation for the entire planting area according to the plan and to prevent drought for industrial crops and fruit trees, in which priority is given to water for the summer-autumn rice crop of about 60,000 hectares. "Immediately after the conference, localities must soon develop summer-autumn production plans to proactively direct production and implementation.
