Appeared in the Northern preliminary round ofMiss Universe Vietnam 2022, Pham Hoang Thu Uyen (born in 1997, from Hai Phong) impresses with her modern beauty and bright smile. She is 1.68 m tall, with measurements of 84 - 63 - 94 cm, graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from FPT University, and was a BTV - MC of the People's Police Television Station.

The 25-year-old girl decided to compete in Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 because the contest promotes the bravery and leadership ability of women. Since her student days, Thu Uyen has held the position of President of FPTU Marketing & Communications Columbia Club, Head of External Relations of FPT University Business Club. During her working career, the beauty was CEO (chief executive officer), CMO (marketing director) of many agencies and corporations; typically the Blockchain technology strategy unit of FPT Corporation.

She also founded many projects on communication and technology. There were times when Thu Uyen managed 3 agencies with over 70 members at the same time. “My leadership style is to train thinking, build processes and reporting methods, most importantly, to empower each individual in the group. I hope Miss Universe Vietnam will be a place for me to share with young people about leadership skills to shine and master life,” the beauty expressed.
“I am happy to achieve my goals both in my personal life and in running my business, but I do not consider it an achievement because the road ahead is still very long,” she confided.

Coming to Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, Thu Uyen wants to tell the story of the events and challenges that she has gone through to become mature and strong as she is today. Before the age of 18, the beauty planned to study in Germany in the field of Chemical Engineering because her mother had lived in Germany for 10 years and at that time she liked to study nature and was an introvert, afraid of chaos. However, a big change happened when Thu Uyen's mother got cancer and passed away before she turned 18. From then on, the 9x changed her mind, realizing that she needed financial freedom to have the right to choose a life for herself and her family.
“At that time, because she thought her daughter was not yet capable of earning money, my mother did not dare to spend all the money she had saved her entire life on medical treatment, so she only treated me in Vietnam and bought a house for both of us before passing away. This great loss made me stronger, choosing to study business and wanting to understand how money works to gain financial freedom. From then on, I challenged myself, connected more and became more extroverted,” Uyen said.

Later, when she had the finances, Thu Uyen realized that no matter how much money she had, she could not bring her mother back. “At that time, I wondered if what I did really made me happy because I did not need to spend too much money. I started thinking about doing something meaningful for my mother. My project to establish a fund for children with leukemia was born from that. I wanted to bring the project to Miss Universe Vietnam with the hope of receiving support from the Organizing Committee and the public, conquering and making the universal dream come true,” she confided.
