Breaking up a ring specializing in stealing patients' property
(Baonghean.vn) - Nguyen Dinh Hoa and Nguyen Ba Sy infiltrated the hospital, taking advantage of the carelessness of patients and their families to steal property.
On April 28, Captain Nguyen Ham Hien - Head of Nam Thanh Commune Police (Yen Thanh) said that the unit had transferred the case file and the subjects related to the hospital property theft ring to Yen Thanh District Police to continue investigating and handling according to their authority.

Previously, at Yen Thanh District General Hospital, there were continuous incidents.theftPhone calls aimed at patients or their relatives, causing confusion and public outrage. Through the work of grasping the situation and screening in the area, Nam Thanh Commune Police have created suspects and coordinated with Tang Thanh Commune Police to summon Nguyen Dinh Hoa (born 1994) and Nguyen Ba Sy (born 1984), both residing in Lien Thanh Commune, for clarification.

During the struggle, the two subjects admitted their crimes. Due to drug addiction and lack of money, Nguyen Dinh Hoa discussed with Nguyen Ba Sy to infiltrate Yen Thanh District General Hospital to steal property.
On the evening of April 3, Hoa and Sy stole an iPhone X and an Oppo phone from two patients while they were sleeping. Hoa then pawned these assets for 2.5 million VND to spend.
On the evening of April 9, Hoa continued to infiltrate the hospital, stole an Iphone 6 and an Oppo phone from a patient, brought them home to hide, and was discovered by the police before he could sell them.
The case is being further investigated and clarified by Yen Thanh District Police.
