(Baonghean.vn) - After a long holiday, Nghe An residents and tourists have gathered at bus stations, train stations, and airports to return to their places of study and work, with the number of passengers increasing 4-5 times compared to normal days.

According to the reporter's records on May 3 - the last day of the holiday, at bus stations, train stations, and airports in the areaNghe Anare all crowded with passengers. People are leaving their hometowns to return to work after a long holiday, and there are also many tourists returning home after finishing their vacation in Nghe An.

Specifically, on the evening of May 3, at Bac Vinh bus station, all the passenger buses were "lighted up" to serve passengers. The waiting area was always crowded. Each ticket booth had 7-10 people jostling to buy tickets.

Mr. Nguyen Van Duong - owner of the Vinh - Da Nang bus route said: "The number of customers booking tickets on May 3 is about 5 times higher than usual. Our 43-seat bus has been fully booked since May 1. Many customers called to book but we had to ask for sympathy and inform them that all the tickets were sold out. Only customers who had urgent matters to return their tickets had seats for the next person...".

A representative of Bac Vinh Bus Station said: Because May 3 is the peak day of the holiday, 100% of the buses at the station are operating and are full. On average, each bus carries 35 passengers, and on May 3 alone, there were about 4,000 passengers departing from the bus station. In particular, the Vinh - Hanoi, Vinh - Da Nang, Vinh - Ho Chi Minh City routes are full.

At Vinh Station, the number of passengers also increased dramatically, especially on train routes NA1, NA3, NA4, NA7, NA8, SE36... all tickets were sold out, with only a few extra seats left for passengers in need.

Mr. Cao Ngoc Tuan - Head of Vinh Railway Transport Station said: According to statistics, there were about 3,000 passengers boarding the train on May 3, the day with the largest number of passengers during the holiday. The unit had to mobilize more staff to best serve the travel needs of the people. Ticket prices are also publicly listed at the station or on the online ticket purchasing page of Vietnam Railways for passengers to choose the train, carriage, seat number as well as the appropriate departure time.

Vinh Airport was also packed on the last day of the holiday. A representative of Vinh International Airport said: This holiday is the time when passengers travel the most after more than a year of being affected by the epidemic. On May 3, there were 50 flights arriving and departing at Vinh Airport, an increase of 8 flights compared to the previous days. Most of the flights were fully booked. In particular, flights from Vinh to major cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang... passengers must book in advance to get tickets, or buy round-trip tickets from the beginning of the holiday./.
