Expert explains when Russia sanctions will be lifted

"The United States has lifted sanctions on the import of fertilizers from Russia, allowing the supply of Internet-related technologies, software and equipment (processors, components) to Moscow," said expert Timofeev.
Europe has begun to talk about “unblocking” Russia’s Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. Many see Russia rebuilding its domestic market and looking for new trading partners, and they are wondering whether such restrictions are still justified.
According to Mr. Timofeev, lifting sanctions is inevitable, but whether it happens in a few years or a few months depends on the negative impact of those sanctions on the US and Europe.
In total, nearly 7,000 different measures have been introduced against Russia, including nearly 6,000 against specific individuals. Switzerland introduced more than 1,103 measures, the United Kingdom imposed 1,098 measures. Meanwhile, most countries in the world have avoided publicly expressing their attitudes towards sanctions against the Russian Federation, the expert noted./.
