President A. Lukashenko noted that if Ukraine had complied with the Minsk Protocol signed in 2014, “today the country would exist within the borders of the Soviet era.” According to him, Russia and Ukraine could have agreed on all issues without military action, if provocations had not begun on the Ukrainian side, “starting with all kinds of economic provocations, pressure and aggression against the Russian people in Ukraine.”
He added that the United States pushed Kiev into the conflict, because such a development of events was beneficial to them. At the same time, according to the President of Belarus, Russia's military campaign in Ukraine has been prolonged.
In a related development, the press secretary of the Russian President D. Peskov stated that the Russian armed forces are aware that NATO countries, especially the United States and the United Kingdom, are transmitting their intelligence data and “other parameters” to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as transferring weapons. According to him, “these actions do not contribute to the rapid completion of the operation, but at the same time they are not capable of preventing the achievement of Russia’s goals in the course of the special military operation”. To resolve this situation, Mr. Peskov said that the military is doing everything necessary.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry noted the US's lack of interest in resolving the "crisis situation" in Ukraine. This is evidenced by "NATO's intention to continue pumping weapons into Ukraine, including air defense systems"./.
