(Baonghean.vn) - In recent years, e-commerce has become an inevitable trend, gradually meeting the consumer needs of the people. Cross-border e-commerce has grown rapidly and become a prominent trend. Nghe An is no exception to that trend.
Fast growth rate
If in the past, traditional business methods at markets, shopping malls, supermarkets and convenience stores were the places that provided most of the services and goods for people's consumption needs, then in the past 2 years, the story has changed. Ms. Le Thi Mai - a vegetable, fruit and vegetable trader at Hung Dung market (Vinh city) said that due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, many people's shopping habits have changed and they have gradually become accustomed to online shopping. "During the stressful time of the epidemic, the market had few customers, so my husband and I introduced our products on our personal Facebook to sell. Now, in the new normal, we sell both forms in parallel, both directly at the market and online with a fairly stable number of customers" - Ms. Mai said.
Currently, the number of small tradersonline salesincreasingly crowded because of its convenience. Online sales channels are a safe way for consumers to shop for necessities. To adapt to the business environment during the epidemic, most restaurants, small traders in markets and consumers have taken full advantage of social networks such as Facebook, Zalo... to exchange, buy and sell food and essential goods for daily life. The Covid-19 pandemic has proven that e-commerce is not only a useful solution for consumers, but also an economic driver for the growth of commerce.
