Vinh Diocese's Bishop's Palace congratulates on the occasion of Buddha's birthday
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 7, at Diec Pagoda (Vinh City), a working delegation from the Vinh Diocese Bishop's Office led by Bishop Alphong Nguyen Huu Long visited and congratulated the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in the province on the occasion of the 2566th Buddha's Birthday and the Provincial Buddhist Congress.
In a friendly atmosphere, on behalf of the Bishop's Office, priests, monks and lay people in the province, Bishop Alphong Nguyen Huu Long wished the members of the Executive Committee, monks, nuns and Buddhists in the province a joyful and happy Buddha's birthday, and together with the people of all religions in the province, to strengthen solidarity, contributing to building an increasingly strong national unity bloc in the locality, and at the same time sent congratulations to the 3rd Provincial Buddhist Congress, term 2022 - 2027, to take place successfully.

Most Venerable Thich Tho Lac - Deputy Standing Committee of the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha thanked the delegation of the Vinh Diocese Bishop's Office and expressed his joy at the solidarity between the two religions. He also wished good health and all the best to the priests, religious and Catholics in the Diocese.
