Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a House of Gratitude for families of martyrs in Nam Dan
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 10, authorized by the Military Region 4 Command, the Provincial Military Command coordinated with the People's Committee of Nam Dan district to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a House of Gratitude for the family of Mrs. Tran Thi Tu - the wife of a martyr in Nam Dan district.

Mrs. Tran Thi Tu (born in 1940) lives in Hamlet 1, Nam Thanh Commune (Nam Dan). Her husband is Nguyen Van Nhi and her younger brother is Tran Van Quang, both of whom were martyrs who died in the resistance war against the US. She herself was a teacher before, then retired. In recent years, Mrs. Tu has lived alone, worshiping her husband and younger brother in a 54m2 level 4 house.2has degraded, not ensuring safety during heavy rain and storms.

Sharing the housing difficulties with the martyr's relatives, creating conditions for Mrs. Tran Thi Tu to stabilize her place of worship, accommodation, activities and peace of mind in life, the Military Region 4 Command has decided to support her with 80 million VND from the "Charity Fund" to upgrade her house. Along with that, the People's Committee of Nam Dan district will support and give Mrs. Tran Thi Tu some necessary items; the Military Command of Nam Dan district and Nam Thanh commune will mobilize militia forces to help her complete the new house. The house is expected to be inaugurated and handed over in June 2022./.
