Nghe An Civil Servants' Union presented nearly 100 gifts during Workers' Month

(Baonghean.vn) - Nearly 100 gifts will be presented by Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union to civil servants, public employees, and workers of affiliated grassroots trade unions in difficult circumstances on the occasion of "Workers' Month" 2022.

According to the plan, Nghe An Civil Servants' Union will carry out activities to give gifts to cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of affiliated grassroots unions who are in difficult circumstances; families of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers who are renting houses or living in the agency's dormitory. In addition, it will coordinate with the Nghe An Enterprise Party Committee's Union to give gifts to workers directly at 13 agencies and units under the Nghe An Enterprise Party Committee.

The gift giving program will run from May 10 to May 13, 2022.

The total number of gifts awarded was nearly 100, of which 17 were given to union members in difficult circumstances or with serious illnesses; 59 were given to union members' families who were renting houses or living in official residences of the agency and 20 were given to workers in difficult circumstances at 2 enterprises under the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial Business Bloc.

On the morning of May 10, Nghe An Civil Servants' Union coordinated with agencies and units such as: Provincial Social Insurance; Department of Home Affairs, Department of Science and Technology of Nghe An, Department of Justice of Nghe An to organize the presentation of 12 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances.

Gift giving activities will continue until May 13, 2022.
