Friendly libraries are also spaces to encourage and develop the reading movement, create a favorable reading environment, form reading habits in schools and families, and contribute to spreading a strong reading culture.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training said: The policy of developing open libraries and friendly libraries is the policy of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training and is also an inevitable trend of the world. However, in the current conditions, the implementation of this model by schools faces many difficulties due to limited resources and funding.
In that context, it is very meaningful for units to join hands with schools to support the construction of friendly libraries. That has brought prosperity to schools and is the first step to replicate the friendly library model in many other localities throughout the province.

For the library to operate effectively, schools also need to be flexible in organizing activities, connecting students between classes and schools, implementing more extracurricular activities, and enhancing exchanges between schools throughout the province.
