(Baonghean.vn) - The program was organized with the purpose of honoring the image of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - a mother, a capable and kind woman who made an important contribution to shaping the personality of President Ho Chi Minh; affirming the role and good traditional qualities of Vietnamese women.

On the evening of May 14, at Ho Chi Minh Square, Vinh City, Nghe An, to celebrate the 132nd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2022), the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union in coordination with the People's Committee of Nghe An province solemnly organized the art program "Mother of Lotus Village" with artistic activities depicting the noble humanistic meaning of the lotus image, the image of Ms. Hoang Thi Loan - mother of President Ho Chi Minh.

This is also a practical activity to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people, building Vietnamese women of the new era in conjunction with implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress.

The program was organized with the purpose of honoring the image of Ms. Hoang Thi Loan - a mother, a capable and kind woman who made an important contribution to forming Ho Chi Minh's personality; affirming, inheriting and fostering the good traditional roles and qualities of Vietnamese women, to continue building the image of women of the new era, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on self-reliance and the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Women's Union emphasized: Mother Hoang Thi Loan's life was simple and pure like a lotus flower, overcoming many difficulties to still bloom, show off her beauty and spread her fragrance.

“The Mother of Sen Village” is a symbolic image of Vietnamese mothers across the country who have been and are dedicating and sacrificing for the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland with noble titles that the Party and State have awarded and honored: Vietnamese Heroic Mother, Female Hero of the Armed Forces, Female Hero of Labor in the renovation period, along with countless mothers who are silently raising and educating their children to become good people.

Promoting the traditions of generations of fathers and mothers, generations of Vietnamese women today continue to uphold the spirit of patriotism, solidarity, self-reliance, self-improvement, aspiration to rise up, affirming the important role in social life, promoting the women's movement to achieve great results, contributing significantly to the common achievements of the country. Especially in the recent difficult times when the whole country was struggling to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, the Vietnam Women's Union at all levels has made efforts and creatively organized many activities with profound humanitarian significance.

During more than 1 hour, the art program "Mother of Lotus Village" depicted the noble humanistic meaning of the lotus flower, the image of the mother - Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan from the musical material imbued with profound folklore and gradually shifted to fresh music, suitable for the program's route from Mother of Lotus Village, to Mother of the country today, tomorrow through three chapters: "Mother of Lotus Village", "Mother's grace", "Lotus fragrance converges with heaven and earth".
