On the afternoon of May 16, at Ho Chi Minh Square (Vinh city), Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade organized the opening of the thematic exhibition "Promoting the Study and Following of Ho Chi Minh's Thought, Morality and Style" in conjunction with launching the logo design contest for Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument; Opening a booth introducing culinary culture and typical products of the province.Nghe An.
Attending the ceremony, on the Central side, there were representatives of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command; Ho Chi Minh Museum. On the Nghe An side, there were comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports, Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade and the Provincial Literature and Arts Association.

At this ceremony, the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province launched the contest "Designing the logo of Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument of Nghe An province" with the aim of selecting the most typical logo designs to use in information, propaganda, and promotion activities to serve the political tasks of the province.

The contest is open to all citizens inside and outside Nghe An province. Entries must be unpublished and have high aesthetic value, be general, attractive, memorable, recognizable, impressive to the public, and especially, express the unique identity of Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument in Nghe An province. The first prize of the contest is worth 20 million VND. The time to receive entries is from May 19 to August 31, 2022.
