Nghe An increases investment in science, technology and innovation
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of Vietnam Science and Technology Day, on the afternoon of May 18, the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the Department of Science and Technology organized a workshop with the theme "Science, technology and innovation in the digital transformation trend" in the area.
Attending the workshop were representatives of generations of leaders of the provincial Science and Technology sector, Vinh City People's Committee, representatives of business associations, digital transformation service providers and a number of innovative startups in the area.

Based on development requirements, some enterprises and units in Nghe An have pioneered and boldly applied information technology and digitalization to production, business and management operations. However, for digital transformation to be effective, there needs to be synchronous support policies and solutions, along with buildingDigital GovernmentOn the basis of national public service portals, there must be a digital society and digital citizens so that the goal of the national digital transformation roadmap can soon come into reality and life.

Concluding the workshop, with the authorization of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Tran Quoc Thanh - Director of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology answered and clarified a number of questions and recommendations related to the digital transformation application policy mechanism that businesses and localities reflected and recommended. Some recommendations under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee will be received by the Department to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for solutions./.
