Respectfully offering flowers, offering incense and offering prayers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Provincial Fatherland Front expressed their sincere respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of the genius leader of our Party and our people, an outstanding activist of the international communist and workers' movement. He devoted and sacrificed his whole life to the cause of national liberation, fighting for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people of the world.

Nghe An is proud to be the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh. During his lifetime, he always had deep affection, care, and thoughtful advice for the Party Committee, Government, and People of Nghe An. His letters, telegrams, and speeches to his homeland, to the teenagers, children, the elderly, to the families of workers, farmers, and soldiers of the province's armed forces left a deep impression and a warm, friendly, and thoughtful style with the wish: "Building the province into the best province in the North".

2022 is an important year, creating a foundation for implementing the goals and tasks of the 5-year Socio-Economic Plan 2021-2025. However, besides the advantages, the international and domestic situation has many difficulties, especially the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic in the area, high prices... have greatly affected production, business activities and life.

In that context, with the determination and great efforts of the entire political system, people and business community, the socio-economic situation in the first 4 months of 2022 was basically stable; industries and fields achieved good growth results, the growth rate of total product in the area reached 6.71% (ranked 20th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide and ranked 2nd among provinces in the North Central region).

Agriculture, forestry and fishery continued to be stable; industrial production maintained a good growth rate. Investment attraction had many changes, support work and solving difficulties for enterprises received attention. Social security and culture continued to be maintained, national defense, security, order and social safety were maintained, social order and safety were ensured. State budget revenue in the first four months of the year reached 7,083 billion VND, reaching 47.2% of the estimate. The material and spiritual life of the people was increasingly improved.

The Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province always deeply remember the special sacred feelings of Uncle Ho for his homeland, considering it a priceless asset that he left for his homeland and always respectfully give him deep gratitude, along with the determination to overcome all challenges, create new momentum and strength to build his homeland to become increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized, worthy of being the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh.
