Innovation in professional and effective working style
In April 2022, through a visit to the family of Ms. Ho Thi Cay, 65 years old, a near-poor household in village 5, Quynh Thanh commune (Quynh Luu), the Association's staffLHPNQuynh Luu district understands Mrs. Cay's difficult situation.
The family of 10 people only depends on nearly 2 sao of rice fields plus the occasional bricklayer's wages of the son-in-law, the daughter who goes crabbing and snail catching every day; and Mrs. Cay's 7 grandchildren who are of school age. After that, the District Women's Union proposed that the District Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs add Mrs. Cay's household to the list.poor household.

Ms. Ho Thi Cay is one of many households that the Women's Union of Quynh Luu district directly approached, understood the situation and provided timely support according to the model.“Household Visit Diary”Accordingly, each association officer visits 10 households each quarter.
Since then, the District Women's Union has innovated its approach, going deeper and closer to the lives of its members and women; at the same time, directing the movement to be close to the target, because household visits are associated with inspection, guidance and urging the implementation of union activities and movements, such as borrowing capital for economic development; implementing livelihoods, the "5 no, 3 clean" model...
“This activity helps union officials promptly grasp and detect problems; if they are within their authority, they will directly handle them or propose solutions to levels and sectors. In addition to the district level, the “Household Visit Diary” model is also deployed by grassroots officials, at the same time at the commune and hamlet levels to grasp and promptly direct the movement,” shared Ms. Tran Thi Ha - Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Quynh Luu district.

In Do Luong district, the District Women's Union has chosen the communes, branches and members, women as the subjects to implement and directly direct the models and movements closely and specifically; associated with strengthening inspection and guidance in the direction of "holding hands and showing work", overcoming administrative procedures in union activities.
In implementing movements and activities, Do Luong always chooses spearheads to direct in depth, not spread out; chooses points and models to direct effectively, and then replicate them.

According to comrade Thai Thi Hien - President of the Women's Union of Do Luong district, the most favorite "point" is to innovate propaganda work, raise awareness for union officials and members through establishing fanpages, Facebook groups, Zalo to inform policies or contents, movements that need to be implemented; organize forums, seminars, online competitions such as contests to learn about resolutions of grassroots congresses, Ao Dai and folk dance competitions; create extensive forums and many people can access.
Currently, the association at all levels is focusing on implementing many projects and tasks with the goal of bringing Do Luong district to the new rural finish line, such as undertaking the collection, classification, and treatment of waste at the source associated with building the model "Clean house, beautiful garden, civilized alley"; building flower roads, planting trees associated with building model residential areas launched by the district Fatherland Front; promoting the implementation of the model "Turning waste into useful work" to supportvulnerable women and children, contributing to the implementation of poverty reduction targets at the grassroots level...

Comrade Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, President of the Provincial Women's Union said that through studying the topics of Directive 05-CT/TW and Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo, all levels of the union in the province have focused on innovating professional and effective working style and methods and implementing the motto "Where there are women, there are union activities".
Based on the direction of building the working style of union officials according to the criteria of "3 right, 4 yes, 5 must" of the Provincial Women's Union, each union level has good and creative ways and models such as: "Household visit diary" in Quynh Luu and Yen Thanh districts, "Diary of going to the grassroots" in Nam Dan district; "3 clear, 3 help" (including clear faces, clear circumstances, clear needs of members; help with capital and knowledge, help members prevent domestic violence, help members produce, process and use clean food) in Nghia Dan, Nghi Loc, Thanh Chuong districts; "Innovation in working style and manners" in Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Anh Son districts...

Annual association activities at all levels select key issues related to political tasks and urgent issues in localities, agencies and units to proactively advise Party committees and authorities to propagate, raise awareness and mobilize members and women to participate.
The focus is on building new rural areas; preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic; preventing and fighting trafficking of women and children and drowning; domestic violence; producing, processing and consuming safe food; building “safe villages for women and children”...
Towards poor women and children
Along with the focus on innovating working style and manners, implementing Directive 05-CT/TW and Conclusion 01-KL/TW of the Politburo, the Provincial Women's Union also prioritizes directing all levels of the union to deploy many models and activities towards poor women and children.
For example, Do Luong district maintains the model of "Turning waste into livelihood model", "Raising economical plastic pigs", "Saving rice jar", "Saving day for poor women", "BCH+1"... associated with calling for socialized resources to build livelihood models of raising chickens, pigs, goats, buffaloes, cows for poor women; supporting scholarships, giving bicycles, school supplies to orphans and children in difficult circumstances.

In Quynh Luu district, the activities that have been carried out over the years are building "Shelters of Love", "Warm Winter Blankets", "Millions of Gifts Sharing Love for Poor Women"; maintaining "Bowls of Love Porridge" for poor children at the District General Hospital 3 times a week; organizing the "Godmother" model; "Supporting Children to Go to School" for children in special circumstances... Especially in Quynh Luu, the labor exchange model has created conditions for many women, especially households lacking labor, to develop their family economy...
Or in Yen Thanh district, the models of "Raising economical plastic pigs", "Charity rice jars"; "Turning waste into breeding animals"... have been effectively maintained; contributing to supporting more than 600 women to escape poverty in the past 6 years. Nghi Loc district has proactively implemented the model of "Taking on foster children" in all social organizations; organized the movement "Helping each other to eliminate poverty with addresses" with nearly 500 families headed by women to escape poverty.

One of the important functions and tasks of the women's union is to mobilize and support members and women to improve their capacity and qualifications, improve their material and spiritual lives and build happy families; at the same time, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology and morality on loving people, the union at all levels in the province has spread many models of following Uncle Ho.
Such as the “5+1” model: 5 members help 1 member in difficult circumstances to escape poverty; “Practice saving”; “Mutual love and support”; “Savings tube”; “Savings jar”; “Shelter of love”; “Turning waste into breeding stock, into insurance cards”; activities to support working days for women in difficult circumstances; the program “Accompanying women in the border areas”...
“To continue effectively implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo, the Provincial Women's Union continues to guide all levels of the union to arouse and promote the love and sharing of cadres, members, women and people in the community to help poor and disadvantaged women and children confidently rise up, create livelihoods and ensure their lives. Consider this a highlight, a key step to bring the "brand" of Nghe An women in studying and following Uncle Ho", affirmed Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa - President of the Provincial Women's Union.
In the 5 years from 2016 to 2021, through models and activities targeting poor women and children, the provincial Women's Union at all levels has supported more than 18,000 women and children in difficult circumstances with a total amount of nearly 13 billion VND; built and repaired 837 charity houses; presented 17,826 gifts, with a total value of 8.2 billion VND under the program "Millions of gifts to share love" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union.
