Mother and child found dead on Bung River

Accordingly, on the morning of May 21, while fishing, people discovered the bodies of a woman and a child floating on the river in village 5, so they reported it to the local authorities.

The victims were later identified as Ms. Vo Thi S. (born in 1980) and her son S. (about 5-6 years old), residing in Tho Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.
It is known that Ms. S. is not married and is currently living with her mother. She previously had a history of epilepsy.
The family has brought the victim's body home for burial according to local customs.
