The Prime Minister recognized Quynh Luu district as meeting new rural standards.

(Baonghean.vn) - Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh has just signed Decision No. 624/QD-TTg recognizing Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province as meeting new rural standards in 2020.

Accordingly, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Nghe An province to be responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations; directing the People's CommitteeQuynh Luu districtContinue to maintain and improve the quality of criteria, focusing on production and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in new rural construction.

Quynh Luu district has 32/32 communes (100%)new rural standardsOf which, 3 communes, Quynh Doi, Quynh Luong, Quynh Hau, were recognized by the People's Committee of Nghe An province as meeting advanced new rural standards and Quynh Doi commune was recognized as a model new rural commune in 2021.

The district has achieved 9/9 (100%) of the criteria for a new rural district according to Decision No. 558/QD-TTg dated April 5, 2016 of the Prime Minister. The district strives to have 15-18 communes meeting advanced new rural standards by 2025, and 2-3 communes meeting model new rural standards.
After many years of continuous efforts, being recognized by the Prime Minister as meeting new rural standards is a great honor and pride for the Party Committee, government and people of Quynh Luu district.
