Next, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the delegation inspected the construction progress of the project to urgently relocate 46 households out of the landslide-prone area in Luong Minh commune, Tuong Duong district. The project was approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province in Decision No. 5690/QD-UBND dated December 25, 2018; approved the project adjustment in Decision No. 146/QD-UBND dated January 18, 2021 with a total investment of 14.8 billion VND.
Currently, the project has been allocated 7,468 billion VND to invest in building land, infrastructure... However, more than 4 years have passed but people have not received land to build houses and stabilize their lives. The reason is that due to lack of capital, infrastructure in the resettlement area has not been fully invested in and built. People still do not agree because they think that the area allocated to each household is small, not enough to build houses and raise livestock.
