Tam Hop Border Guard Station started construction of a charity house "Whoever needs it, come and take it - Whoever has it, share it"

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 26, Tam Hop Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) coordinated with the Party Committee, People's Committee of Tam Hop commune and Youth Volunteer Corps 9 to start the construction of the "Whoever needs, come and take - Whoever has, share" charity house in Tuong Duong district.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Van Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of Tuong Duong District Party Committee.

The station organized the construction of a charity house, a place to distribute necessities and provide free medical examinations for local people, called "Charity House" to consolidate and strengthen the relationship of solidarity and cohesion between the Army and the People, contributing to building a strong People's Border Defense.

"Charity house" is built on a land area of ​​about 120m²with a budget of about 250 million VND, at Khe Sen intersection, Huoi Son village, Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district with funding from voluntary donations, working days of the unit's officers and soldiers, and the help of philanthropists and businesses.

The house is made of wood; arranged into rooms: a room for storing materials and supplies for the people, a room for carrying out activities to help the people; a room for eating and resting for officers and soldiers on duty; a room for arranging a "frontier medicine cabinet".

After completion, the house will be a place to receive and distribute free materials to poor households, families and disadvantaged students in the area and combine the arrangement and deployment of a "border medicine cabinet" to examine and treat common diseases; provide consultation, health care, and disease prevention for the people.

Once a week or once a month, the local government and the 9th Youth Volunteer Corps will organize the distribution of necessities and medical examinations. Assistance to the people such as haircuts, repairs of motorbikes, bicycles, electronic devices, household electricity... to help people in the area will also be regularly organized at this charity house.

Also at the ceremony, Tam Hop Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities and the 9th Youth Volunteer Corps to distribute livestock breeds, lend people interest-free loans for a limited period, and the Tam Hop Commune Party Committee and People's Committee donated 4 houses to eliminate temporary houses for people from the "one thousand dong" fund donated by the Commune Party Committee and People's Committee./.
