This year, in the Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth Football Tournament, Anh Son district only participated in the Children's team. In previous seasons, the highest achievement of Anh Son Children's Team was reaching the quarter-finals. What is noteworthy about Anh Son players is that they played with a spirit of solidarity and made every effort.

In this year's tournament, the players of Anh Son Children's Team were all selected from the amateur talent class organized by Song Lam Nghe An Club in the district. The combination of professional and talent factors will help the team feel confident when entering the tournament.

Most of the team's players were born in 2012 and 2013, with three bright faces standing out: Bui Van Hau from Hoi Son commune, Tran Van Huy, Nguyen Van Nghia from Hoa Son commune. These young players have good physical strength, are agile, skillful in technique, and are the hope to create breakthroughs in the matches of Anh Son Children's Team.

Coach Tran Van Dat said: “This year, Anh Son Children's Team has many advantages when there are 2 artificial turf fields in the area, the quality of training sessions has also been improved. The weakness of Anh Son Children's Team in previous years was physical strength and tactics, so we are trying to convey to the children basic technical exercises, then focus on competition tactics and add physical strengthening exercises”.

The coaching staff spent a session for the children to practice and experiment to find suitable positions for the players, regularly organizing exchanges with local children's teams and amateur talent teams of Song Lam Nghe An Club so that the children can practice.
